Anybody know how to access a MySQL server from VB? I could tell you why, but it's really complex.

The way I do it is via the ODBC Connector. After that's setup, I use ODBC to get data as with any other SQL server,

Also I think that proggy comes with the VB package when you install it too Biggrin

What I think your thinking about is MDAC. VB installs that as a default option. The ODBC Connector is a special way to connect MySQL through ODBC.
