Hi! ..just found this vb forum. Anyway, I am usually a linux programmer but I work at a university where we run a window2k lab. We're under a budget crunch and we'd really like to allow students to only print one copy of a document no matter what program they're running (Word, notepad, IE, etc) on a novell network printer. I'm looking into seeing if there is a program that will do this, however a small program running in the background, made in vb, would work just as well too. There might even be a registry hack that could be done...I don't know for sure. Since this is a programming forum...is there a way to monitor the print queue (before it gets to the print queue) and make sure students are only printing one copy of a document?
Thanks,
Pat |

| That looks like you have to pay 50 euros. Anyone know of a free solution? |
