Dear All,

I am seeking for help to deal with the interface with the serial port RS-232 using Visual Basic.

Firstly, there should be a sensor circuit connected to the PC via serial port (RS-232). The data from the sensor circuit is to be access and manipulated through the serial port. I am wondering if I may use the VB 6.0 to do all the software part coding stuff for accessing serial port for such sensing circuit.

I truly wish that someone can assist me in dealing with this matter as I am really facing problem right now with this.

Thank you and may the luck be with u always!

This page looks like it has links to some code. I haven't done any serial or parallel programming (I've done a bit of horizontal programming, but that's another topic) so I can't really evaluate them. Sorry.
