hi all you lovely visual basic programmers. especially roofrabbit you legend!!
anyway i just wanted to know which is better for doing the graphics in a top down, (phantasy star or original final fantasy style) simple rpg.

I'm beginning one myself that's basically a SuperTux clone. Where SuperTux only uses a height of 15 tiles, I want to make one that scrolls up/down as well as left/right. Point being, I decided to just use the BitBlt function since it takes less coding and is easier for me to understand. Using DirectX seems to require much more overhead coding. _________________ Website - [link] |
