I am pretty new to VB and you will probably find my problem really easy to answer, but i am in desperate need of some help.
I am trying to connect my VB6 proram to an Access 2000 database with the simple 'Data' tool. When i click on the 'DatabaseName' property, it allows me to select my database but when i click on the 'RecordSource' property an error message comes up "Unrecognized database format".
Could it be that i need to save my database in some other format maybe?
The Data Control will connect to Excel files... just not Access!!
I would be VERY grateful if someone could tell me what i am doing wrong. I thought that it might be that VB6 doesnt support Access 2000? But there must be some way around this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
I tried downloading this but i cannot understand it as it is in a language foreign to me. Any chance you could give me the english version, or tell me where i could find it?
