| I am looking for help on how to open, cread, write, close and save a non text file. I want to read it to create a saved game editor. I think I can read it in binary and get the values I need in bytes; however, from everything I have read I am really confused now. I have taken a VB course, but it has been 2 years since I have used it, and I am drawing blanks. If anyone could help me that would be great. I could e-mail the file I am trying to look at if that will make it easier. |

I'm just getting into VB.Net so I can't adequately judge the quality of the code yet. But this tutorial looks pretty good. In fact, when I'm ready to write binary files in VB.Net I think I'll start with that tutorial myself. _________________ Always take into account what a user would never ever in a million years do, because someone will.
