ok i dont really know how to explain this but i have a page with two forms on it that submit back to the same page for procesing. well i have it so that it only excutes if($var != '') the only problem is that i have them a select boxes so theres always a variable is there way so that when it submits to the page it only excutes the one form that was submited? if you cant follow me i can give you a link and show you what i mean. i appreciate the help.[/code]

never mind i just used a hidden input and ussed it as a variable for each form.
