Stonehaven Progress Controls
This file includes two ActiveX controls for displaying progress in your application. Each indicator supports the properties used in the Windows ProgressBar (Min, Max, and Value) with a plethora of additional properties you can use. This means that you can swap your current ProgressBar for either of these, give it the same name and it should automatically work.
The shProgressPie control is a circular or "pie" shaped control that dipicts progress as a growing slice of the pie. You can set the border and the aspect (making it more of an oval than a circle). The shProgressBar control is a simple bar. Both controls support solid color or 2- and 3-color gradient fills as well as random fills and are nice to look at.
This control is freeware. It is included with a sample project in the downloadable zip file. You are welcome to use it in any way you see fit.
Note that this control will ask you to register it. Just enter the RegisterID parameter value, "EdinburghHaggis" to activate the ProgressPie, and enter the RegisterID parameter value, "EdinburghKilt" to activate the ProgressBar.

I am certain that there are at least a dozen unique command button controls that have been produced by various people and made available on the Internet. But wouldn't you know that when I was looking for a comand button that supported two captions with independantly definable fonts and font colors, I couldn't find one? As a result, I built this ActiveX control to fill the void. It functions very similarly to the standard graphical VB command button, except that it supports two captions which can be given unique appearances. Also the picture can be placed on the top, left, bottom, right or middle of the button.
This control is freeware. Its source code, and a sample project that uses it are included in the downloadable zip file. Please feel free to use the control as it is, or to use and modify the source code as needed.

Stonehaven Text Button ActiveX Control
Here is something new, different, and a bit bizzarre. It is a replacement for standard rectangular command buttons that takes the shape of text--the text itself is a button. At design time, simply give the caption property a string value of your choosing and, the text itself becomes a 3-D push button. Of course certain fonts work better than others, and you must ensure that the font you use will be on the user's computer.
This control is freeware. It is included with a sample project in the downloadable zip file. You are welcome to use it in any way you see fit.

Stonehaven SimpleAnimate Control
Here is a simple animation control that you can use to build custom animations to include in your application. This one control lets you add multiple picture files, including gif, bmp, jpg, cur and icon files into a single animation. The animation is assembled at design time through the control's property page, and can then be run at runtime as needed.
Probably the most useful thing about this control is the demonstration it gives on how to use the PropertyBag to store a varying number of binary objects.
This control is freeware. It is included with its source code in the downloadable zip file. You are welcome to use it in any way you see fit.
