Forum Rules / Posting Guidelines

General guidelines to follow when making a post.

1) Moderator/Administrator decision will be final on all analysis and implementation of forum rules and guidelines.

2) Any questions for specific actions may be sent by Private Message

3) No posts in aid of virus or Trojan creation or other malevolent code.

4) Keep it legal. The moderators/administrators will decide if a post is acceptable or not.

5) Keep it civil. Do not insult or sneer at any member. If you have any problem either tell it to moderator/administrator or send a private message to him/her.

6) We do not tolerate Spam at all. Anyone found spamming will be banned without any notice.

7) No advertising, promoting of websites or products EXCEPT as a reply to a particular post where the website or product is relevant.

8) Posts should be posted in the proper forum. If we feel that a post really belongs in some other forum instead of general forum, we will move it.

9) Keep it clear. We have to be tolerant of those whom English is not their first language.

10) If you have question why your program crashes, include a complete description of the error as well as the code where the program crashed. You may not have to post your entire code, just the relevant parts.

11) Read the whole thread before posting, the question may already have been answered. Do not post unless have a different/better solution or a correction to the post.

12) If you have posted a question, and your problem has been solved either by your or by another poster, then please post a message saying that the issue has been resolved.

13) No duplicate threads. Post your question once, in one thread, in one board only. You will get a reply. All duplicate threads will be deleted without any notice.

14) Do not ask people to write code for you.


Posts that violate the above guidelines will be moved/edited/deleted without notice. Member's who violate the guidelines will be banned. This can also be without notice, but in most cases, a warning will be issued.

Recommendation for Rule 7

If you post a adverisement at the billboard, please make sure that it is appropriate or a moderator might delete it.
