What is the difference between VB and VBA ?

VBA, or Visual Basic for Applications, is the macro language for Microsoft Office products like Excel and Word. The syntax for VBA is virtually identical to that for VB, but you cannot produce executables like you can with VB. The macros created with VBA are generally used for manipulating spreadsheet data or entering forms for a document.
