Hi
i have 2 combo boxes 1 named cmbtown the other cmbmovies.
i also have a table named town and a seperate table for each town (e.g. manchester, london ) which has all the movies listed. i have a DAO data control linked to the table town and 1 linked to each of the the other tables.

i am trying to get it so when i select a town (e.g. manchester) in combo1, combo2 lists all the movies available in that town.

if anyone can help plz post up.

cheers

jamie

thats sort of what i wanted but the data i wanted in combo box 2 is in a totally different table than the data in combo box 1.
i also need it so the table which populates combo box 2, depends on what is select in combo. (e.g. if manchester is selected in combo 1, then combo box 2 is filled with a list of films that are available in manchester.)

if anyone is able to help plz do

cheers

Hi!

I have not read your post carefully. First off all i don't like the structure you're having. For eg.

You are having 1 table named Town.
And having 1 each table for each Town. Am i right at this ?

If yes, then its the wrong and inefficient way. Becuase you can achieve all by just using 2 tables.

I'll be making a sample app. based on this soon.

Thanks!
